Updated Shipping Information

** October 18th UPDATE **  

Please choose your shipping option wisely.  Chocolate shipped (outside of Chicago) with the UPS Next Day Air services are arriving safely at a 99.9% rate over the summer.   

Halloween Orders will ship over the next two weeks.  Your can review your order receipt to see if you have an order shipping out the week of the 18th or 25th.  High temperatures in Chicago on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday are expected to hit the low 70s.  For this reason we are staggering shipments, with most going out later in the week, when temperatures are cooler. Next week's forecast calls for cooler temperatures. As such, Week of the 25th orders are expected to ship either Monday or Tuesday.  

We are starting to modify our shipping options as cooler weather appears in certain regions.  However, if unseasonably high temperatures are in the forecast please pick a Next Day Air option.  We cannot be held responsible if you choose a two-day option (e.g. UPS Ground for some areas) and the chocolate melts in transit as a result. 

All orders ship from Chicago, IL.   

Warmer Temperature Shipping. Warmer temperatures require us to adjust our shipping options and process to better accommodate the delicate nature of chocolate bonbons. Confection only orders (caramels, nougat, and marshmallow) can be shipped over multiple days using less-expensive services like UPS Ground. 

All shipments to areas expected to be sunny and greater than 65° F temperatures are packed with thermal protection and cold packs. However, understand that these elements hold their condition for a maximum of about 24-36 hours. We recommend choosing the fastest delivery option (UPS Next Day Air over Next Day Air Saver) if warm temperatures are expected at the destination and keeping close attention to the tracking updates so they do not sit on the porch in sun. While we present you multiple shipping options, ultimately the final decision (and responsibility) to choose the best option is yours.

 

NATIONWIDE Shipping Days. Please identify in the notes section of your order if you require delivery by a certain day. This will help us plan our shipping schedule because we try to ship orders out to arrive on the coolest forecasted day of the week. For example, a Monday order may not ship until Wednesday if dramatically cooler temperatures are planned for later in the week. Our goal is to give the chocolates the best opportunity to arrive in great condition.

One-day air service shipments will ship Monday - Thursday. Shipments with slower services will ship Monday - Wednesday. Orders placed before 12:00 noon will ship that day (unless there is a dramatically cooler day available later in the week, as noted above). Orders placed after 12:00 noon will go out the next shipping day.

*Note* our UPS options DO NOT offer Saturday delivery. Also, we do not profit from shipping fees. The shipping prices you see are to cover shipping and handling costs.

 

 

Chicagoland Complimentary Shipping on orders greater than $100.00. 

 

Kitchen PICK-UP. We offer complimentary pick-up at our kitchen (1904 Brookdale Road, #128, Naperville 60563). Choose the free pick-up option at check-out and your order will be available the following Wednesday or Friday between 1:00 - 5:00 pm or upon request. Just choose PICK-UP at checkout and confirm / schedule your pick up appointment with us (info@SugoiSweets.com).
