ABOUT MAA MAA DEI

Jaye took being pandemic-furloughed in fall of 2020 as the perfect opportunity to start Maa Maa Dei -- a pop up rooted in her desire to both connect with her Cantonese, Toisan, and Hoiping heritage and also embrace her Asian-American upbringing. Maa Maa Dei means "not great, just ok," and this set-the-bar-low attitude makes the perfect stage for experimentation and discovery.
