Tasting notes: Dark fruit, oak, whiskey.
This bar is a dark chocolate blend of fine flavor cocoa beans, selected to complement the flavors imparted from the oak barrels previously used to age the Whiskey Del Bac Dorado. Using the Scottish model of whiskey-making, Dorado is made from 100% barley that is malted and smoked over a velvet mesquite fire, mashed, fermented, copper pot distilled, aged and bottled on site. After the barrels are emptied and dried, Monsoon fills them with rough ground chocolate and age for 4 months. Once tempered, the resulting chocolate is decadently rich with a nose of whiskey and smoke.
