Xing Ren Hu (杏仁糊) also known as Chinese almond cream, is a delicate and silky traditional dessert first brought to Singapore by Teochew immigrants. Made with apricot kernel, rice, sugar and water, this smooth, ivory-hued paste offers a subtly nutty aroma with a lightly floral undertone.
In this bar, apricot kernels are toasted and aromatic Jasmine rice ground for a smooth texture with a marzipan aroma. Bits of roughly chopped apricot kernel adds a playful crunch.
Ingredients: Cocoa butter, apricot kernel, cane sugar, rice.
