UJI HOJICHA
Tasting notes: Nutty and toasty tea aroma with a creamy mouthfeel.
Hojicha (焙じ茶) is a style of roasted Japanese green tea that originated from Kyoto. After steaming, the leaves are roasted to mellow bitterness and develop its unique nutty, roasty aroma. The process browns the tea, giving it an alluring chestnut-brown colour.
Made into a 53% milk chocolate using Ugandan Semuliki Forest organic cacao, the flavour is warm and comforting with a creamy texture.
Ingredients: Cacao, cane sugar, cacao butter, milk powder, tea leaves.
