Originating from Indonesia and fondly adopted as a local dessert in Singapore, Pulut Hitam is a black glutinous rice porridge typically sweetened with palm sugar. It is a nutritious snack that is enjoyed anytime of the day.
In this bar, Fossa used copious amount of black glutinous rice for a lovely ricey aroma and thick creamy mouthfeel. Complemented with the floral and malty heirloom Nacional cacao from Ecuador's Hacienda Limon estate, the flavour is familiar and comforting.
